THE BEGINNING OF MY JOURNEY

 

Before starting to tell in more detail, I am very grateful and proud to have had this opportunity. This is the first time I can go abroad. And I will make it the most valuable experience in my life. And this is where my story begins.

Solo Jebres Station

September, 12th 2023 is the beginning of my journey. Today, Dela, Devira and I departed from Solo Jebres Station to Tugu Station, Yogyakarta. Arriving in Jogja at approximately 16.00 we went straight to the accommodation which was close to the station because our flight was tomorrow morning at 10.20 from Yogyakarta international Airport. We rested for a while at the inn then went out that night to look for fried rice in the Malioboro street, Jogja. After that we returned to the accommodation to rest so that we would be ready to leave in the morning. 

Yogyakarta International Airport

At 04.00 we left the accommodation and headed to Tugu station to go to the airport. We took the airport train schedule at 04.50-05.29. Arriving at the airport we first had breakfast at KFC. Next, wait for check-in for the scoot flight. Our flights are at 10.20a.m -13.50 p.m.


Changi International Airport, Singapore

At 14.00 we arrived at Changi International Airport, Singapore. Next, we transited in Singapore for 12 hours because we got a change in the Singapore to Manila flight schedule on September 14 2024 at 01.50 Singapore Time.

CLOSING CEREMONY After the Grand Demo, my friends and I returned to the Dormitory to prepare for the performance that we would present at the Closing Ceremony. At 15.30 we left for the College of Education to attend the Closing Ceremony, it doesn't feel like it's ending so soon it feels like just yesterday we came to the Philippines and today we will hold the Closing Ceremony with our supervisors, IO, Cooperating Teachers, and Buddies. Activities in UST, Manila, Philippines

  COURTESY VISIT WITH THE DIRECTOR OF UST OFFICE INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND AFFAIRS After finishing DSM, I went to the College of Education to meet with the Director of International Relations and Affairs at the UST Office which is located in the main building. We were very well welcomed by them and chatted a lot about how our day in Manila was. They also gave us souvenirs in the form of hats and books. How happy and proud it is to meet such great people DINNER AT BARBARA' AND CULTURAL SHOW   September 19, 2023 Today at 05.00 pm we went to the restaurant to have dinner together with the dean and international office staff. My friends and I went to the College of Education. We went to a restaurant called “Barbara's”. The place is very nice and very aesthetic. There are lots of traditional Filipino foods there and many other types of food. I felt very happy and excited and took some food to taste.
